Update on Shirley September 23

Hello,

Well mom's first day on Rehab did not go so well. She was having problems with her wound/ostomy bag the wound nurse had to come visit her 2 times to fix it, she does not want to be there she wants to be at home. She cried the whole time i was in there talking to her telling her this is just one more hurdle she has to cross before she gets home. I told her to go ahead and cry hoping that will help and get it all out of her system. I had a talk with the nurse about medication, her history etc....

When i went there this evening there was another problem her restless legs has flared up so again i had to talk with the nurse about her medication for that and if she does not get her something for it she will have a very bad night. I was not a very nice person. I want the nurse to get something now not later. I want mom to benefit from rehab so she can get home.The nurse called the doctor and he ordered her medicine so i hope she gets some sleep tonight. Here is her address if any would like to send her a card she really could use some cheering up right now. She is really down in the dumps.
